An opening reception for Maine artist and designer Eamon White’s exhibit, “Full Circle,” will be held on from 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the LA Arts gallery in Lewiston. The exhibition features White’s artistic development from high school to now, highlighting his bold social justice portraits and freestyle shoe designs; artwork from his first art influencers: his father, Stephen M. White, and his grandmother, Jane Glen Hallam Murdoch; and five of his students from a shoe design class at Next Step High in Lewiston. The exhibit is on display in the gallery through Saturday, April 15.

White says of his work, “The concept of the Full Circle show is the endless loop of knowledge, on how the student can become the teacher and how the cycle works. It shows the start of the cycle with the where and who I got my passion for visual art from. The show takes you through the journey of my beginnings as an artist. From my early high school work, all the way to present day digital poster and shoe customization projects. It also gives you a glimpse into my family influencers (father and grandmother). Then you see my teaching style and what the kids learned and the activities we did in my classes when I taught at a local high school.”
