Lillian M. Beaulieu

LEWISTON – Lillian M. Beaulieu, 93, and a long time resident of Tall Pines in Lewiston, passed away Saturday March 11, 2023 at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Mexico on Aug. 25, 1929, a daughter of Patrick and

Elizabeth (Lavoie ) Arsenault.

Lillian graduated from Mexico High School in 1949 and then went on to complete one year of business college in Auburn.

She met her future husband, Roger Beaulieu, at a local snowshoe club. They were married on April 27, 1957 and together they settled in Lewiston to raise their family .

Lillian started her working years as a bookkeeper and later she became a waitress and spent many years at Little Hobo Restaurant. She finished out her working years at Marden’s finally retiring at the age of 79.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of TOPS for over 25 years and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed attending her Friday luncheons at the Pathway Vineyard Church with her friends.

She was a loving, hardworking, devoted and proud Catholic, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind two sons, Charles and Roland Beaulieu; four grandchildren, Brian Beaulieu and partner Katie, Robin Beaulieu, Tierra Nunn and husband Roger, and Stacey Beaulieu and partner John; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Lillian was predeceased by her eight sisters, one brother; and her husband, Roger.

A memorial service will take place at the Fortin Group, Lewiston on Monday March 27 at 11 a.m.

Committal Prayers at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive on Wednesday May 2 at 2 p.m.
