SALEM, Mass. — Taylor Sujko tallied five goals and an assist to lead Salem State past University of Maine at Farmington 18-5 in a non-conference women’s lacrosse game Saturday.

Mackenzie Schmink had four goals and Madison White completed a hat trick, while Mackenzie Schmink and Jenna Wells each scored twice in the win for the Vikings (1-5).

Ruby McMinis mustered a pair of goals for the Beavers (0-4), while Abby Trefsger notched a goal and two assists and Emma Bourget had a goal and an assist. Emma Brown also scored, and Kate Nowell made seven saves in net.

Oxford Hills grad Ashlee Farrar recorded a game-high four ground balls for UMaine-Farmington, which begins North Atlantic Conference play with its home opener against Husson next Saturday.

MIDDLEBURY 13, BATES 2: Jane Earley had four goals and an assist as the Panthers (8-0, 4-0 NESCAC) cruised to a win over the Polar Bears (4-5, 0-4) in Middlebury, Vermont.

Lauren Wong and Madie Donovan scored for Bates.

BUFFALO STATE 13, BATES 3: Grace Householter had a triple for the Bobcats (6-4) in their loss to the Bengals (7-5) in Clermont, Florida.

Oriana Castello scored four runs for Buffalo State.

Kennedy Jones had two hits and an RBI for Bates.

ELMHURST 11, BATES 8: Sarah Cooke had a two-run double in the fourth inning as the Bobcats (6-3) scored seven times, but it wasn’t enough in a loss to the Blue Jays (6-4) in Clermont, Florida.

Ella Maher added a two-run single for Bates.

Chiara O’Leary had two doubles and drove in two for Elmhurst.
