POLAND — The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot, and Poland is proud to announce its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipient for March, Hunter Oehme. Hunter, a senior at Poland Regional High School, was selected by staff for his outstanding leadership qualities and his overall positive outlook on life. He is described as a mature, delightful, and witty conversationalist who has genuine compassion for those around him. He approaches each day with an appreciation for the ‘absurdities of life’ as well as an inner determination and pride that consistently have a positive impact on others.
