AUBURN – Lucille C. (Roux) Tremblay, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. Lucille was born in Lewiston on Jan. 24, 1943, the daughter of George and Regina (Gauthier) Roux and was educated in Lewiston schools.

A graduate of Lewiston High School, Lucille was proud of her years working at St. Mary’s Hospital. She enjoyed helping her sisters, being outdoors, and especially loved time spent with her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include sisters Jeanne Vaillancourt, Yvonne Roux, OMMI, Florence Boulet (all of Lewiston), three sisters-in-law Pat Roux and Claudette Tremblay both of Lewiston, and Susan Rosenbaum of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Bert Tremblay, her parents, three brothers, Reginald (Leo), Fr. Albert Roux, and Paul, four sisters, Georgette Courchesne, Rita Galipeau, Monique Langlois, and Doris Roux, as well as several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. The family would like to thank the Androscoggin Hospice House for their kindness and dedication to Lucille’s care in her final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April, 3, 11 a.m., in the Lower Church of Ss. Peter and Paul Basilica. Graveside committal prayers to follow, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
