Lewiston’s mayor and City Council seek resident volunteers to serve as members of the Lewiston and Auburn Railroad Company Board of Directors.
The responsibilities of the board are to manage and control the business, property and affairs of the LA Railroad Corporation. The appointments are for a three-year term, according to a news release from Dottie Perham-Whittier, community relations coordinator.
Lewiston residents interested in applying can contact the City Clerk’s Department to complete a committee volunteer application. An application form is also available at lewistonmaine.gov/boardservice.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 12.
Residents are welcome to call the City Clerk’s Department at 207-513-3124 with any questions regarding the committee appointment process. Completed applications will be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office for processing.
Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
