BRUNSWICK — Kevin Murray hit a two-run homer for Bowdoin in its 11-0 baseball victory over the University of Maine at Farmington.

Murray finished the game with two hits and three RBIs. Stephen Simoes also had two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs for the Polar Bears (9-5), while CJ Brito-Trinidad doubled, singled and drove in a run. Gabe Peckler added a solo homer, and Will Bordes and Lukas Tsai each had an RBI double while Jack Olcott had a double.

Jake Sullivan went two innings and struck out three to pick up the win for Bowdoin.

Oxford Hills graduate Hunter LaBossiere had a double and a single for the Beavers (3-13), and Danny Terhune had a double.

Chris Albert took the loss for UMF, going three innings and giving up an unearned run.
