John C. Rowe

MECHANIC FALLS – John C. Rowe, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 7, 2023, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born June 10, 1967, in Lewiston, a son to Ashley and Julianne (Fickett) Rowe. John attended the local school system and graduated from Edward Little High School. He worked for the town of Mechanic Falls, in the Public Works Department.

He married the love of his life, Lisa A. Marston on May 20, 1995.

John was an avid outdoorsman who loved going fly fishing, ice fishing, golfing and hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

John was an active member of the Sons of The American Legion in Mechanic Falls.

John was predeceased by his loving father Ashley Rowe.

He leaves to cherish in memory his loving family, his wife Lisa A. Rowe, his devoted daughter Cheyenne Rowe and her boyfriend Joshua Sullivan, his mother Julianne Rowe, his brothers James A. Rowe and his wife Lisa, Andrew L. Rowe and his significant other Dawn Brooks, his uncle Dale “Butch” Rowe, along with his niece Meghan Wood and her husband Taylor, Benjamin Rowe and his significant other Tabby, and Brandon Rowe and his significant other Kaylee, and one great nephew, Rowan. He also leaves his mother-in-law Claire Patterson.

The family would like to thank the town of Mechanic Falls, Public Works Department for the generous support during this very difficult time.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Saturday, April 15, from 12-2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at 41 Elm St, Mechanic Falls, The Reverend Don Mayberry will say prayers at 1 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 26 W.
