Mathew E. Storck
AUBURN – Mathew E. Storck, 38, of Auburn, passed away April 7, 2023. Mathew was born at Mercy Hospital in Portland on Oct. 16, 1984. He grew up in Bryant Pond and graduated in 2003 from Telstar High School.
Mathew became a CNA and worked at the Maine’s Veteran’s Home in South Paris Maine and later transferred to the Scarborough Facility while attending Southern Maine Community College. Upon graduation from SMCC he pursued a career as a Respiratory Therapist at Central Maine Medical Center and most recently employed by Cross Country Health Care as a travelling R.R.T.
Mathew was respected and loved by many. He enjoyed his work and was proud of his accomplishments. He loved cooking, driving, hiking, camping and most especially hanging out with his girls, family, and friends. He will be remembered for being a “night owl” and working only night shifts and his obsession with Video Games, Zelda, Halloween costumes, bon-fires, fireworks, spicy foods, meat soup.
Mathew is survived by his wife Rachel Storck (Firth); daughters (loves of his life), Bailey Storck and Faith Storck; mother Eileen Storck, father, Eric Storck; sister, Alyson Holland and her husband Charles Holland; grandmother Barbara Storck. He is also loved and remembered by mother-in-law Gail Firth, father-in-law Charles Firth; sister-in-law Katherine Godek, brother-in-law, Jesse Godek; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends
Mathew was predeceased by his grandparents Claud and Elizabeth Brackett.

Visiting Hours and “A Time for Remembrance” will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4 – 7 p.m. with Words of Remembrance starting at 6:15 p.m., Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services 253 Pine St. Lewiston
Interment will be held at a later date for immediate family.
