Saddleback’s 2nd Annual King of the Mountain Snowmobile Hill Climb was nothing short of incredible! The 2023 race attracted 310 riders, 626 entries as well as a record number of spectators from all over New England. Winners received cash prizes, some exceeding $4,000! Saddleback ran the Sandy & Rangeley Quads for spectators to watch the race from above. The race kicked off just after 10 a.m., due to a “moose hold” on the course. A moose wandered onto the first part of the course and had to be escorted by a game warden away from the area. Only in Maine, right?
