Lorraine V. (Lavigne) Boulet

LEWISTON – Lorraine V. (Lavigne) Boulet, 85, a resident of Oak Park Lewiston passed away Saturday March 4, 2023, following a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Sept. 26, 1937, the daughter of Francis and Marianne (Berube) Lavigne.

Lorraine and her beloved husband Raymond “Blackie” Boulet were co-founders of Pine Tree Warriors Drum and Bugle Corps which was a very popular marching band in the Lewiston and Auburn community for many years. She enjoyed travelling, playing Bingo, and loved to cook.

She was employed many years as Activity Coordinator at Montello Nursing Home in Lewiston until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Raymond R. Boulet and wife Norma, one daughter, Debbie Boulet; one granddaughter, Sarah and her partner Jordan Roy; as well as a grandson, Jack.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters and brothers.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Friday May 5, at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
