Brayden Hill casts a magnet Tuesday into the Androscoggin River in Auburn. Hill, who attends Central Maine Community College in Auburn, originally learned about magnet fishing on TikTok. He says he has a lot of luck with snagging fishing lures, which he uses in his own fishing adventures. “It’s free tackle. I just have gotten a hundred lures this way,” Hill says.
