AUBURN – Sean Frederick Gagne, 45, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 3, 2023, a son to Ronald and Karen Gagne.

Sean was born and raised in Maine. He loved spending time outdoors working on projects. He had a career working construction with his father at Ronald Gagne Builders, a family-owned business. Sean had a gentle soul and was one of the kindest people you could meet. He loved his community and could be found helping others whenever he had a chance. He was a caretaker at heart, a loving uncle to his nieces and nephew and a great dog dad to his best friend Buddy.

Sean was a warm light in everyone’s life. He was loved dearly and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Calvin and Maxine Durrell of Temple, his paternal grandparents Roland and Doris Gagne of Lewiston, and his beloved dog Buddy.

Sean leaves behind his loving parents; his brother Kevin Gagne and wife Tracy as well as his sister Karla Diffin and husband Roger. Sean also leaves behind his nieces and nephew Ally and Emma Gagne, and Lucy and Oscar Diffin.

Per request of the family, all services will be private.
