Spring is teasing us but we can be sure planting will begin at the end of May. There is interest in continuing the community garden and as more snowbirds return to Rangeley, I hope more gardeners will join us.
Email me if you are one of them and I will put you in touch with the others. I envision a meeting being called at the end of this month to decide how to proceed; individual plots or one big garden to share.
Last year we grew tomatoes, tomatillos, green beans, wax beans, cukes, squash, sunflowers, nasturtiums and marigolds. It would be nice to have the surplus go to Seniors at the Townhouse.
