Community Service and the Auburn Y. M. C. A. are at odds about who is to occupy the Court Street Rink. The Service claims it was promised the rink for horseshoe practice and games. Now the “Y” has put up poles and the kiddies are crowding out the grown-up, says an Auburn man.

Someone who has counted them, reports there are 297,608 frogs in the stagnant pool on Lower Lisbon Street, all of whom sang together at the haunted hour of twilight last night.

Frank Sinatra’s widow will inherit his real estate — including a Malibu beach house and a Beverly Hills estate — while his children will get the entertainer’s lucrative music catalog, a source close to the family said Monday. Sinatra’s business interests flourished in the final years of his life through sales of two top-selling duet albums, reissues of old hits and licensing of Sinatra’s name and image to appear on products ranging from ties to Korbel champagne labels.
