The Poland Spring Preservation Society plans to open the Maine State Building Museum and the All Souls Chapel for the 47th season with an open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at 37 Preservation Way.

With free admission to the museums, visitors can see new exhibits, including a recently donated circa 1900 Poland Spring House Safe, get a copy of the 2023 summer concert series schedule, and learn ways to be part of Poland Spring history, according to a news release from Laura Brown, director of operations with the society.

The Poland Spring Bottling Museum will also open for the season that day, with exhibits like a locomotive and a child-sized bottling museum replica.

People can have lunch at Mel’s Hilltop Restaurant, overlooking the golf course, and then stroll through the woods on the Togo Storybook Trail from the Poland Spring Bottling Museum, ending at the Maine State Building Museum, and see the new life-size bronze statue of Togo the Sled Dog.
