Christine “Tina” Anderson

SOUTH PARIS – Tina of South Paris, born at CMG Hospital in Lewiston on Dec. 25, 1947, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of passing.

She was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School. She earned her certificate as a nurse’s aid and CNA as well. She also completed several miscellaneous University of Maine college credit courses.

She was employed in several various occupations while raising her four daughters. She also proudly home-schooled her four granddaughters.

Tina enjoyed time with her family, engaging in bible study, arts and crafts, and camping. Tina was selfless, loving and kind. She would, more often than not, spend the money she received as gifts on her children and grandchildren.

Tina is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dennis Anderson of South Paris; her daughters Donna Anderson, Diane Andrews and husband Ron of Oxford, Debbie Harmon and husband Roger of Norway and Darcy Robinson and husband Chris of South Paris. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christina Anderson, Nicole Buzzell, Neecy Anderson, Alyssa Anderson and Kassidy Andrews; great-grandchildren Destiny Davis, Hannah Lovell, Brian Buzzell and Jaycee Lovell; brother, Bertrand (Roland) Cote, sisters Jackie Holbrook, Bonnie Colby and Brenda Cote.

She was predeceased by parents Bertrand and Irene Cote; sister, Donna Lee Cote; and great-grandson, Carter Anderson.

A service will be held at Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris on Saturday, May 27 from 4 to 7 p.m.
