Dave Chase and his sons Rhett, center, and Penn place flags at a veteran’s gravestone Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston. More than 35 volunteers helped place 1,700 American flags throughout the cemetery, according to event organizer Leo Baillargeon of the Knights of Columbus Council 106. Both Rhett Chase, 5, and Penn, 8, had baseball games to play in after helping Saturday. Parade at 10:30 a.m. Monday — Participants will line up at the Ring-McKeen American Legion on Church Street and march to the Finnish Cemetery on Pioneer Street in West Paris.

Parade at 11 a.m.  — Town parade to start at the Wayne Community Church parking lot, 22 Old Winthrop Road, and march down Main Street in Wayne.

Ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday — Mundt-Allen Post 81 of the American Legion will hold an observance at the Veterans Memorial on Main Street in Bethel.

Ceremony at 1 p.m. Monday — Ceremony starts at the Veterans Monument in Woodstock, and a parade will travel to the Lakeside Cemetery.

March at t 1:30 p.m. — Participants will march from the town hall on School Street to the Weld Public Library on Route 142 in Weld.
