Maxine L. Gora

AUBURN – Maxine L. Gora, 96, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the home of her daughter.

She is survived by her three children, son William R. Gora and wife Sandra, daughter Dale A. Bois and her husband Roland, son Timothy W. Gora and companion Pam Knowlton; six grandchildren, Donald, Shanna, Scott, William (Chip), Bethany and Jason (deceased) and 10 great-grandchildren; her sister Carol and husband Clifford Brown of Agawam, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.

Born May 13, 1927, she celebrated her 96th birthday surrounded by her entire family, enjoying every moment spent with them.

She was predeceased by her mother Delila Buxton, father Ralph Buxton and her husband William H. Gora

A private Burial will be on June 5, and a Celebration of Life on June 17, 2023, at the West Gorham Union Church, 190 Ossipee Trail, Gorham, Maine, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Everyone who loved this sweet woman is invited to celebrate this amazing lady.
