Dianna J. Carr

LEWISTON – Dianna J. Carr, 58, a resident of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at CMMC in Lewiston. She was born Aug. 13, 1965, in Malden, Massachusetts, the daughter of Robert A. Shelton Sr. and Helen M. (Hiltz) Shelton. Dianna attended schools in Malden, Massachusetts and Turner, Maine and was a graduate of Leavitt High School. On Sept. 7, 1984, she married Robert A Carr. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pine Cone Chapter #26. She loved spending time with her family and attending family gatherings. She is survived by her husband of almost 39 years Robert Carr of Lewiston, three daughters, Felicia Spencer and her husband of Utah, Amanda Carr and Lindsay Fortin-Carr and her boyfriend all of Lewiston, four grandchildren, her mother Helen Shelton of Auburn, her brother David Shelton and wife Brenda of Oxford, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Robert Shelton Sr., her sister Elaine Parlin, her brother Robert Shelton Jr., and brother-in-law Ivan Parlin. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Street, Auburn, Maine. Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Interment will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, Maine.
