We had a handful of correct guesses for last week’s Mystery Photo. Our winner, Ed Barrett of Lewiston, was picked from all the correct entries. His email answer was spot on, and not unexpected from the former city administrator of Lewiston. He wrote: “The picture was taken from outside the door to the upper floor apartments at 191 Lisbon St. The door is right next to the Kimball Street Studios shop entrance. The reflection shows part of the stencil on the door (Hall — the full stencil is Central Hall) and the reflection (reversed) of the Lewiston Public Library and the orange brick building at 192 Lisbon St. Pretty tricky making it look like you were taking a picture of the buildings across the street through the glass. That it’s a reflection is given away by the fact that the Hall in the stencil is not reversed.” Barrett will receive a $20 Hannaford Supermarket gift card for being picked as the winner of this week’s contest.
