A reminder: Pennesseewassee Lake Outlet, located at the bridge by Butters Park on Main Street, is open to fishing (only for persons under 16 years of age or persons holding an eligible complimentary fishing license) from the upstream side of the bridge downstream to the dam at Route 26 by Aubuchon Hardware from April 1 – June 15. Refer to the Maine Fishing Law rule book.
Norway Parks and Recreation is now taking swim lesson registrations at the town office. Lessons for youth, from beginner to advanced, will start on July 10. The Norway/Oxford mill & fill project (WIN 025287.00), beginning 0.02 of a mile north of Skeetfield Road and extending northwest 3.49 miles to 0.02 of a mile south of Fair Street, will be starting in July and completed in August/September of this year.
