Very special Pets of the Week are Deeda and Harriet
Here is Deeda, a female Setter/Lab mix, of 8-10 years old. We have some bittersweet news to share about our beloved Deeda. During her recent spay surgery, our veterinarians discovered some health concerns that require us to find a special hospice home for her. We want to make sure that Deeda’s remaining years are filled with love, comfort, and the care she deserves.
Deeda has been diagnosed with a mammary tumor, as well as two large ovarian tumors that are believed to be related to ovarian cancer. Our skilled medical team has successfully removed most of the tumors, but there is a possibility that some cells may remain. Deeda also faces the challenges of hip dysplasia in her left hip and arthritis in her right knee.
Despite her health issues, Deeda continues to live her life with an indomitable spirit. Her sweet and gentle personality shines through, captivating everyone she meets. Deeda’s love knows no bounds, and she gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. She truly embodies the essence of a kind-hearted and affectionate companion.
We are searching for a special hospice home where Deeda can spend her golden years surrounded by love, care, and comfort. This loving soul deserves nothing less than a safe and peaceful environment where she can enjoy her remaining time to the fullest.
We understand that this may be a challenging commitment, but we believe there is someone out there with the compassion and capacity to provide Deeda with the care she needs. If you or someone you know is willing and able to open their heart and home to Deeda, please reach out to us immediately.
