Competitive paddleboarder, Trinity Noll Wall, originally from Bethel submitted photo

BETHEL — Trinity Noll Wall was a competitive snowboarder when she attended Telstar in the early nineties. But more recently has taken on the rapids of Colorado.

For the past eight years in a row, Noll has taken first place in the 2023 Women’s White Water 6 Race series in Vail, Colorado.

This past Saturday,  June 10, she came in second in the Go Pro games in Vail, a race she has competed in for the last three years. “They had some very strong international competition. Especially the girls from Canada who have some light weight boards and big trucks with their picture on the side,” said her father Rob Noll. “Her goal was to beat the Canadians and she did.” He commented that they had big water this year.

He said her mom, Patricia Noll was a professional athlete, too. She was a marathon runner, a triathlete and a ski instructor in the handicapped ski program at Sunday River. She died in a triathlon training in Songo Pond in 1993.

Her sister Sarah (Noll) Noble works for the Department of Defense and lives in England.

Trinity’s father said she did 108 days of skiing in the mountains of Colorado this past winter near her home in Edwards, Colorado.
