PARIS — The Paris Public Library is holding used book sales on Saturday, July 1 and Saturday, July 29 from 8 a.m. to noon, with an entirely “new” selection of items being offered each week. The sales will be held in the driveway between the Paris Public Library and the Paris Town Office, but, in case of poor weather, the sales will be held instead downstairs in the neighboring Deering Memorial Community Center.

The sales feature over a dozen tables of books in good to excellent condition, covering a wide range of genres, topics, and bindings. Sales are by donation, with buyers contributing what they wish for their selections. Proceeds from the used book sales help purchase children’s books for the library’s collection.

The library is located at 37 Market Square in Paris, located on Routes 26 and 117. Due to the generous amount of contributions collected over the past year, the library presently possesses sufficient stock for these sales. For more information, please contact the Paris Public Library by calling the library at 743-6994 or emailing paris.public.library@MSLN.net.
