Lorraine M. Beauchesne

BELMONT – Lorraine May Beauchesne, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born in Lewiston Feb. 19, 1931, the daughter of late Willie and Yvonne (Chasse) Morin. She attended St. Peter’s school in Lewiston and Walton School in Auburn.

On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Richard and they started a family before he was deployed overseas. During their marred life she worked at W.T. Grant for many years then became a supervisor for the Coastline Inn housekeeping department.

She was known to many as “Memere”, always putting others before herself. Family meant the world to her.

She was a member of the New Auburn Seniors as well as Horizon 55.

She will always be remembered for her love of playing cards with her friends and family. She enjoyed baking, making puzzles, traveling and just having a great time! Planning a trip to the casino’s was something she always enjoyed.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard, her seven siblings; son Gerald; grandson Lance, granddaughter Marie; great granddaughter Lily; and daughter-in-law Meg.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Beauchesne and his wife Diane of Lewiston, Ronald Beauchesne of Baily Island and Donna Palmer and her husband Eric of Belmont; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A very special thanks to Waldo County/Mainehealth hospice team for their compassion, support and care.
