After some cool temperatures and possible rain showers, the latter half of the week will look like summer in Maine.

Monday’s forecast for Androscoggin County features mostly cloudy skies, a slight chance of showers, and a high of 66. The evening shouldn’t be much different with mostly cloudy skies, a 35 percent chance of showers and an overnight low of 53.

The National Weather service also has similar conditions on tap for Tuesday. But the state can expect warmer and drier days starting Wednesday with highs in the lower 70s.

Temperatures are expected climb back into the 80s by Thursday and continue Friday. Plenty of sun should be available also.

Unsettled and more humid conditions return to this weekend’s forecast. While Saturday’s high temperatures should be in the 80s, the skies will be mostly cloudy. And scattered showers are possible in the afternoon. And there’s a 70 percent chance of rain Sunday, according to the NWS.
