Wilma

Are you ready for some puppy love?
Adorable Wilma is about 4 months old and will be available for adoption at the end of the month. She has 3 siblings who will be available as well. We think she could be a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, but that’s just an educated guess. She weighs about 15 pounds right now, so should be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Wilma and her sisters are fun, happy, loving, and lovable girls who are ready to be part of your family. Puppy homes should expect to work on housetraining and all the puppy basics. If they have Border Collie and Aussie in the mix, those breeds are especially known for their intelligence and eagerness to learn, eagerness to please, as well as needing some activity in their lives to keep them happy and out of trouble. (Though that’s true of most puppies, it’s even more true for herding breeds).

If you are interested in adopting Wilma or one of her sisters, fill out our application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/dogs. You can also fill out an application in person at the shelter. We recommend filling out an application soon. Meetings with dogs are by appointment with an approved application.
