Jim Caron buffs a 1937 Chevy on Thursday at Jim’s Auto Body in Lewiston. Inside his business is a 1988 Monte Carlo SS and a 2023 Corvette. Caron does a fair amount of work on older classic and muscle cars because he fixes parts rather than replaces them. “You cannot replace parts on a car like this because of the car’s age,” he said. “Therefore, parts need to be fixed and there are fewer shops that fix parts.”  Daryn Slover/Sun Journal
