Nick Rowley of University of Maine Cooperative Extension will be at Rangeley Public Library on Wednesday July 5th at 6:00 PM to discuss pest management in the garden. This talk will be an overview of common pests such as insects, diseases, animals, and weeds found in vegetable gardens and the key aspects of integrated pest management (IPM) that will help the gardener to control them. Rowley’s talk will be followed by a time for questions and answers. Participants are encouraged to bring plant and insect samples for discussion.
