We fooled many readers with this week’s Mystery Photo. Numerous people incorrectly guessed it was Togo, the dog statue at Poland Spring Resort. Others thought it was the statue of Dan’s Beagle at Bates College, and another who thought it was the bobcat by Merrill Gymnasium, also at Bates College. However, we did receive a number of correct answers, some mentioning that it is the life-sized bronze Siberian husky statue located by Hanscom Hall at Gould Academy in Bethel. The Siberian husky is the school’s mascot. In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Deb Brown of Bethel was picked to win a $20 Hannaford Supermarket gift card.
