David Leslie Bickford

AUBURN – David “Dave” Leslie Bickford, 62, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Androscoggin Hospice House with his loving wife and brothers by his side. David was born on June 30, 1960 in Lewiston, a son to Walter and Joyce Bickford. He was born and raised in Auburn and attended Auburn schools.

On June 19, 1982, he married the love of his life Trudy White in Lisbon Falls. The two had a beautiful marriage and shared many amazing years together.

Dave spent his career as a machinist, which he enjoyed very much. In his free time, he loved fishing, exploring nature, and being out on a boat whether on the lake or the ocean. He also enjoyed long rides in the jeep and spending quality time with their cats.

David was predeceased by his parents; his sister Sharon, and his brother Mark.

He leaves behind his wife Trudy of Auburn, his brothers Steven (Elaine) of Auburn, Neil (Julie) of Norway, Bruce (Margie) of Auburn and Keith of Lewiston. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins both in and out of state.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at CMMC who took care of David while he was ill, and to the staff and volunteers at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.

A visitation at The Fortin Group in Auburn will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. An in house memorial service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1 p.m. followed by a catered reception.
