OXFORD — On Thursday, June 15, according to Oxford Police Chief Rickie Jack, officers from the Oxford Police Department responded to a local business for a report of a male in a vehicle in the parking lot consuming drugs.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male inside the vehicle and found him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle yielded approximately 48 grams of Fentanyl and 25 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.
The male, later identified as, Jesse Weeman, 26, of Dixmont, was found to be out on bail for Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled drugs and had active warrants for his arrest for Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, Tampering with a Witness, and Criminal Threatening.
Weeman was arrested for Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Class A), Unlawful Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Class B), Failure to Provide Correct Name and DOB (Class E), and Violation of Conditions of Release (Class E).
The vehicle owner, said Jack, Nicole Tucker, 47 of Dixmont, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Class A), Unlawful Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Class B), Hindering Apprehension (Class C), and Violation of Conditions of Release (Class E).
