The First Universalist Church of Norway plans to host an art exhibit and sale in its concert hall from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 7. and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at 479 Main Street in Norway.
The event will feature nine local artists and a wide variety of artistic media. Tom Coolidge will offer piano music Friday.
Artists will include Lyn Bell (pen and ink, acrylic ink wash), Josh Farr (photography) Roberta Gordon (pastels, acrylics and paper tole), Brenda Goulet (oils on canvas), Peter Herley (mixed media/acrylics), Suzanne Norman (acrylics, watercolors and oil crayons), Gayle Plummer (acrylics) Steve Traficante (photography), and Alice Tweedie (watercolors, pastels, pencil drawings and oils).
The exhibit will be held in conjunction with the Western Main Art Group’s First Friday Receptions at the Main Street Gallery and the Matolcsy Art Center, with refreshments served at each of the three venues.
