DIXFIELD — A tractor-trailer driver suffered minor injuries early Friday morning when he rounded a corner on Main Street and crashed into a home.

The occupants of the home were not injured.

Michael Osodo, 49, of Washington state, was driving north when the truck went off the road, rolled on its side and hit the house at 5:40 a.m., Oxford County Chief Deputy James Urquhart said.

Osodo was transported to Rumford Hospital with minor injuries.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were Maine State Police, Mexico police, Medcare, and fire departments from Dixfield, Rumford and Peru.

The state police commercial vehicle enforcement unit is assisting the Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
