Brian T. Volpe
BOSTON – Brian T. Volpe, 47, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2023, with family by his side at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, after an arduous, complex medical journey.
Born on Feb. 18, 1976, in Natick, Mass., to Mario and Margaret (Hazam) Volpe. Brian grew up in Bridgewater, Massachusetts and later moved to Maine where he earned a degree in Computer Science, started his own business in construction and began building his life in Maine.
Brian was predeceased by his father Mario Volpe and grandparents, Leonardo and Maria Volpe and Grandparents William J. and Elizabeth G. Hazam.
He is survived by his children Riley, Jacob, and Noah Volpe. Their mother and friend Jessica Wilson and her husband Ted Small.
His Mother Margaret “Peg” Volpe. His Step-Mother Brenda Casteel.
His life partner Danielle Stanton and daughter Maddison Robbins.
His brother Michael and his wife Kristina Volpe. Nephews, Michael Volpe and Jared DeVoe.
His longtime best friend Andrew Mello.
His uncles, Michael and his wife Natalina Volpe, Tony and his wife Joyce Volpe, Stephen and his wife Ena Hazam, John and his wife Flora Hazam and Bruce and his wife Atsuko Hazam.
His cousins Marianne and her husband Frank Casano, Christina Volpe, Marc Volpe, Anna Volpe, and Lorella Volpe.
The Volpe Family, The Hazam Family, and many wonderful friends.
We are all so proud of him. It took so much strength and courage to embark on this journey. He is truly remarkable. He’s motivated so many others throughout not only this journey but throughout his life. He is loved by so many and will be missed more than words. “Keep singing Brian.”
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Oxford Hills Funeral Service, 1037 Main Street, Oxford. Visiting Hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service. There will also be a reception from 2-4 p.m., at the Rec Center, 223 King Street, Oxford.
