Branden Ritchie of Auburn, a student at Lewiston Regional Technical Center, received the high school bronze medal in electrical construction wiring at the 2023 SkillsUSA Championships, held June 21 and 22 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ritchie also received a Skill Point Certificate.

Two other local students were named Skill Point Certificate recipients.

Caed Langley of Lewiston, also a student at the technical center, was awarded a Skill Point Certificate in plumbing.

Natalie Beaudoin of Lewiston, another tech center student, was awarded a Skill Point Certificate in medical math.

The event is held annually for students in middle school, high school or college/postsecondary programs as part of the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.
