LEWISTON – Julia M. (Bean) Gammon, 72, of Sumner passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Central Maine Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 29, 1950, in Livermore, a daughter of Reginald and Barbara (Whittemore) Bean.

She married Dale Gammon and they raised their family in Sumner.

She was a dedicated wife and mother, who loved flowers, birds, and watching old movies and T.V. shows like the Waltons and Little House on the Prairie.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. She loved to cook and baked from scratch for everyone in the family.

She was predeceased by her son Eric Gammon, her parents Reginald, and Barbara Bean, her brothers Reginald Bean Jr., Kevin Bean, and Brian Bean

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 57 years, Dale Gammon, sons, Chad Gammon, Shawn Gammon, and Keith Gammon, her 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
