Harry L. Judd
LISBON – Harry L. Judd, 82, of Lisbon, slipped his earthly bonds, leaving behind his pain and suffering on Saturday June 24,, 2023 with his sister, Betty Grant and his niece, Naomi Loss by his side. Harry fought a courageous battle against cancer and had assured his family and friends he was ready whenever the Good Lord was ready for him.
Harry Judd was born Jan. 13, 1941 as one of five children to Harry E. and Thelma (Beal) Judd. He was a born storyteller and family jokester. He attended Lisbon Falls schools and throughout his life he was employed in automotive repair and at Bath Iron Works.
In September of 1964, he married the love of his life Barbara (Ouellette) Judd who predeceased him in 2016. They celebrated 52 blessed years together.
Harry adored the children of the neighborhood who frequently drew him pictures and planted flowers in his yard. He enjoyed attending the Lisbon Falls Church of the Nazarene and visiting his many friends. Harry will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; his parents Harry E. and Thelma (Beal) Judd; and three siblings, Charlotte Judd, Glenys (Judd) Morton, and Irving (Ace) Judd.
Harry is survived by his last remaining sibling, Betty (Judd) Grant and her husband George. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. All who loved him dearly. He will be missed by many special cousins and wonderful friends.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Maine Cancer Care and Chans Hospice for all their loving care for Harry. A celebration of life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 184 Main St., Lisbon Falls on Saturday, July 22 at 1 p.m.
