Ann Wheatley Kimball

RUMFORD – Ann Wheatley Kimball, born in Wyandotte, Mich. on Oct. 5, 1943, died on July 10, 2023 at the age of 79.

She was the daughter of Charles F. Wheatley II and Ann G. Wheatley. She grew up in Maryland, and was a graduate of Chestertown High School and Hood College (class of 1965). She had a career in banking.

She was active with the Cub Scouts and volunteered at churches and food pantries. Along with her husband, she helped establish four farmers’ markets, in which she participated for 25 years.

She is survived by David V. Kimball, her husband of 56 years; also, by their three children, David W. Kimball, Susan K. Perkins, and Catherine K. Harris.

There will be a funeral service at the Rumford Center United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 22 at 11 a.m. This will be followed by an interment at the adjoining cemetery, then a gathering inside the church.
