TURNER — Nicole Van Tassel is the new director of the Turner Public Library.
Hired last October as assistant director, she aims to lead the way in helping the library accomplish its goal for programming, services and collection development. hired last October as assistant director.
“The library is an essential part of our community.” Van Tassel said. “Some of my goals for the library include offering support to all in need, being a welcoming place for all to gather, and being a connection for schools, parents and members of the town to feel connected.”
Rebecca Trujillo is the new assistant director. She is a lifelong resident of Leeds, and has worked with families and children since 2005 in capacities such as teaching, child care, advocacy and doula work.
