This year marks 120 since the cornerstone of the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC was laid.
In those 120 years the church has been served by 23 ministers, and on Sunday, Aug. 6 it plans to welcome the Rev. John Hogue as its new pastor.
Hogue is an ordained United Church of Christ minister, who also serves Weld Congregational Church.
Sunday morning worship services at the 163 Main Street in Mexico church will move to 11 a.m. beginning Aug. 6.
Holy Communion will be served by Hogue that day.
