Joseph R. LeBlanc Jr.

PERU – Joseph R. LeBlanc, Jr., 70, died Monday July 31, 2023, at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He was a resident of Ridge Road in Peru.

Joe was born in Bridgeport, Conn., on May 30, 1953, the son of Joseph and Arlene (White) LeBlanc, Sr. He was a graduate of Rumford High School and worked as a supervisor on # 15 Paper Machine for Boise cascade Paper Mill in Rumford. Joe enjoyed woodworking, four-whelling and gardening.

He was married in Mexico, to Debra who died in West Peru on April 5, 1990, and was later married in Peru and survived Donna Kaulback. He is also survived by daughter Jessica Stiles and husband Matt of FL, sons, Wil Shurtleff of Dixfield, Joseph LeBlanc of Dixfield, Jerry Kaulback and wife Lori of Massachusetts, Spencer Kaulback of Rumford, Kevin Kaulback and wife Leah of Rumford, 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, a brother Kevin LeBlanc Sr., and wife Beth of Missouri, a sister Linda Haley and husband John of North Port, Fla., and many nieces and nephews. Joe is also preceded in death by daughter Kelly O’Halloran, and a brother Michael, and “Buddy” Dewar (Pepere).

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday Aug. 3, 2023, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford. Interment will be in the Demeritt Cemetery in Peru. Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
