Patrick here. I’m a dapper gentleman who somehow lost my bearings one day and ended up in this odd place. Quite a blunder, but here I am. The servants have been quite accommodating during the day, but the nights are long and lonely. How I long for a comfortable couch and a human at my beck and call again. I’m a lovely boy if I do say so myself, and I get on quite well with the domestic staff here, but I would prefer to have my own people again. And I prefer my people (or person) to be with me most of the time. It’s no hardship for them as they are sure to enjoy my most delightful companionship. I think I’m 4-5 years old (in human years) and a little over 20 pounds. I enjoy my walkies as well as a bit of sophisticated foolery and civilized cuddling, once we get to know each other, of course. I’m a stunning boy, though I hear tell that I need a haircut, which I will have had by the time you read this appeal. I certainly hope the coiffeuse has the appropriate credentials and accreditations, as well an appropriate
sense of style. I certainly cannot be seen in public with blunt bangs. Other dogs? Not a fan. They are beneath me and I shan’t pretend otherwise. Cats? We can discuss that. Children? No, thank you. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open for general visits or cat adoptions Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment; dog visits are always by appointment).
Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
