To the Editor:
The “Mornings at the Museum” would like to express a sincere thank you to every person, business, and organization who contributed to make this year’s MAM an outstanding success. Without the help of everyone giving so generously of their time, money, expertise, and enthusiasm, we could not have had the summer we did!
A special recognition to our adult volunteers who came in the variety of July weather and helped the children dress up, paint, sew, play games, enjoy music, tour exhibits, and learn an appreciation for our Museum.
But most of all, our high school and college Student Docents excelled! Travis, Ryan, Molly, Megan, Shelby, EB, Mae, Grady, Brody, Seth, Ruthie, and Mia were all returning “veterans” and they were joined by Eva and Brody, and together they supervised all the activities and showed mature and helpful guidance for the children.
Last of all, many thanks to MKA for always supporting MAM and making us smile as they walk down Mason Street on Thursday mornings to participate and enjoy. See you all next July!
