Blazer
Meet Blazer, a five-year-young Mastiff mix, weighing in at around 90 pounds. Blazer’s owner could no longer care for him, so Blazer found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. Blazer did not receive much socialization outside his family in his early years so he can be a little nervous when making new friends. But once you have cleared Blazer’s background check, you will be his best friend. Blazer loves to go on walks and enjoy hikes in nice, quiet areas. You won’t need an alarm with this guy; he will always have your back and let you know when someone is at your door. He has lived with other dogs with mixed results, but he prefers humans over other furry friends. No cats for Blazer. Blazer would love a quiet, adult (or adults/teens) home. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open for general visits or cat adoptions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment; dog visits are always by appointment).
Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
