LEWISTON — Prince of Peace Parish plans to offer A Time to Heal, a support group for widows.
Meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m. six Wednesdays from Sept. 6 to Oct. 11. at the Holy Cross Senior Center on 16 St. Croix St.
The group will provide emotional and spiritual support for those suffering the loss of a spouse. Meetings will be led by an experienced grief facilitator.
Understanding the grief process along with experiencing peer support promotes the healing process and leads to personal growth, according to a news release from Diane Williams with the parish.
Those interested must call the Prince of Peace Parish Office at 207-777-1200 to register, since the group is limited to 12 participants at no cost.
