Albert Warren Spaulding Jr.

DIXFIELD – Albert Warren Spaulding, Jr., 100, of Dixfield, passed away on August 29, 2023, after a sudden illness, just weeks after celebrating his centennial birthday with family and friends at the Dixfield Historical Society.

He was born in Auburn on July 24, 1923, the first of five children of Albert W. Spaulding, Sr., and Ella Peabody Spaulding.

He is survived by five of his children, Rosalie Spaulding of St. George, Utah, Pamela Spaulding of Jay, Alan Spaulding of Sarasota, Fla., Forrest Spaulding of Dixfield, and Laurie Marquis (Neil) of Rumford; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 60 years, Annie Elizabeth Brown Spaulding; a son, Scott Spaulding; and a grandson, Aaron Newton.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Mexico, 20 Cherry St., with a reception to follow.Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME.
