AUBURN — Julia Audunsdottir scored four goals to lead University of Maine at Fort Kent past Central Maine Community College 5-0 in women’s college soccer action Monday afternoon.
Audunsdottir opened the scoring just over 14 minutes in and then Naylea Mendoza doubled the Bengals’ lead to 2-0 in the 31st minute, with both goals unassisted.
Audunsdottir added three more goals in the second half, with the final goal assisted by Amber Moir with less than two minutes to play.
Dreanna Thaw and Giselle Trujillo combined to secure the shutout in goal for UMaine-Fort Kent.
Emma Knowles made 17 saves in goal for the Mustangs, who were playing their first game of the season. Natalie Tracy had the lone shot on goal for Central Maine.
