LEWISTON — A waterline break Thursday afternoon has closed Randall Road, between Pond Road and Grove Street, to through traffic.

According to city Communications Director Angelynne S. Amores, the break happened near 351 Randall Road about 3:30 p.m., and no cause has been identified yet.

Amores said a public works crew was working on repairing the line, but it could take between eight to 10 hours.

While the road is closed to traffic, Amores said homeowners will be allowed to get in and out of the area.
